Photo Shoot

We held a photo shoot just before leaving Tallahassee. A picture of all three grandchildren was the request, and we were ready to please. I am sure Toni and George will find the perfect one, but here are some that capture smiles, cries, escapes, and funny faces.

Love Bites

Love bites - love bleeds. Well, August bites and Kinleigh almost bleeds. Yes, August is a bitter and Kinleigh unfortunately was on the receiving end. It was very dramatic, but somehow EN managed to sleep through the entire scene. Poor guy doesn't know what he is in for! Later in the day, while all was calm and still (the two oldest were napping!), EN decided to try rolling over. We amazingly had the camera and video camera ready!!

The "New" Friday Night

Friday nights are no longer what they used to be. Where to go and who to see are no longer that important. Getting to bed early after a long week is. Just grilling out steaks with friends is about as exciting as it gets. But I must say it is just as fun, and better in many ways. We spent the evening at the Cruse's enjoying each other's company and watching the kids play to their hearts content. I must say that Bailee really came out of her shell, and was hamming it up for us. Linda told us how she makes pizza in her kitchen. It goes like this - - Pick up the phone and call it in!! Now there's a girl who has got it right!

Faithful Helper

August is forever helping me around the house, as I am sure most mommies can relate to. He loves to help cook in the kitchen, vacuum (he uses his lawn mower), and organize items in the bathroom drawers, just to name a few. This morning, my faithful helper was ready to help make the bed. If I could only get him to stop taking breaks to kiss the dog!!

While trying to stay warm and cozy this morning, Bonny tagged me! The instructions were:

I was hoping for a better one while I was following my directions, but this is what I got! This picture was taken October 2, 2007 at a little after 4:08 p.m. I had just given birth to August with NO drugs. Hence the look of pain on my face!! Despite the pain, we had a beautiful and healthy 7 lb boy just feet away getting looked over by the nurses and ever watchful grandparents. Although it is not my favorite picture, it certainly from a truly blessed and special moment in our lives.

Puppy Play Date

Mom and dad got a puppy on Tuesday, so August and I went up for a play date. The puppy had a great time and so did August, although I am not sure he like her love nibbles so much. Puppy teeth can be sharp!
