cade's cove

we have started a tradition of visiting cade's cove followed by lunch at the brewery for pizza. there were lots of critters to be seen including deer and turkey. it was a wonderful, relaxing day. only once did mom have to get ready to pull out her special treat for horn blowers (toni and george, i know you can appreciate this!).

mother's day

mother's day was quite laid back. we went for a walk, ate a little, watched movies, and just hung out at the cabin. i never even took my camera out of the bag, but in honor of the day (i know it is over a week late) i will post pictures of all the beautiful flowers that were blooming in tennessee.

we spent the day traveling, but i know you enjoyed fishing on the river a few days later. boy, are we glad you did. those fish were quite tasty. love you!
