That is cute! I have a journal for both the girls. It is similar in the idea. I don't write to them each day, just if something quotable or funny happens...or if I'm just wanting to leave them a note. For each birthday, I leave a more detailed note. Something I hope to give them when they become adults...but I like this too...this is something that Jim could do since he isn't the "journaling" type. :)
This is the best idea EVER! I will never be able to remember all the funny things our little one says. And this is so easy!
