easter

august's class had a party and egg hunt on thursday.
it was wet outside, so they hunted eggs inside.

during the party, august looks over at me and says,
"mama, i love you!"
i know my days of proclaimed love in front of his friends are numbered.

saturday travis built my raised garden bed.

and we dyed easter eggs....in our christmas pajamas!

the easter bunny delivered his goodies.

much to the delight of one boy.

the bunny even enjoyed his carrot!

easter service was excellent,
and the children were well behaved.
batman even minded his manners.

we had lunch with trav's family.
and then headed to mom and dad's to celebrate easter and grandmama jo's birthday.

the boys helped put the candles on the cake and loved blowing them out.

another wonderful family filled weekend!
